Improv Comedy, Just for the Fun of It
|
Improv comedy can turn a sour day into a laugh fest and can help you look at people and situations with a lot more patience, tolerance and appreciation--after all, they all provide you with rich comedy material! Improv is an art that rewards spontaneity, cooperation, and generosity. (The fastest way to look good in Improv is to find ways to make people around you look good). The rules for Improv are also great rules for living life. Stepping out of the norm is not only appreciated, but rewarded. Ready to leap into a world of games, possibilities, and fun? We welcome amateurs as well as advanced students, actors, stooges, lawyers, trapeze artists, salespeople, teachers, unemployed philosophers, etc. If you think you're too shy to do Improv, no worries. The worst that could happen is you find out you were right. If you're up for some creative play, let's meet-up for some improv games and maybe even a performance one day!
